Pruning Workshop Feb. 16, 2025

Join BMORE Beautiful and Baltimore Orchard Project for a hands-on urban fruit tree workshop February 16, 1- 3 p.m. The workshop will focus on pruning techniques but will also cover species selection, fertilization, and pest management for fruit trees in the city. All experience levels are welcome.

The workshop instructor is David Neustadt, a local licensed and ISA-certified Arborist who is also a Master Gardener for Baltimore City.

Bring weather-appropriate clothing and any pruning equipment you would like to use, especially hand pruners and loppers. Equipment will also be available on-site.

The workshop will be located in Druid Hill Park on Shop Rd. Turn onto Red Road, with sports fields on the right and Safety City on the left, then turn left onto Shop Road and park on either side of the street. The Orchard is located on the green space between Shop Rd and Red Rd to the right of the City Farms Community Garden. Or, input 3101 Shop Rd, Baltimore MD 21217 into GPS.
